Aesthetics of interaction: design an alarm clock

Summary of the project

Wake is an alarm clock that allows the user to have a calming, stress-free sleeping experience. To turn the alarm on, the two metal balls should be placed inside. Turn the wheel to set the alarm at the preferred time. Lights on the inside of the alarm clock indicate the sleeping time. When it is time to wake up, the alarm clock will start moving and produce a relaxing and gentle sound. To turn the alarm off, it should be softly held to calm it down. Action relabelling, inherent and augmented feedback and feedforward were implemented in the design to make the interactions as intuitive as possible. The main subjective of this project was to implement the Froger framework and to design for a rich experience.
